Joy. Love. Memories.

Welcome to the Jubilee Family!

Thank you so much for booking your session with me! I help loving families create natural, timeless portraits in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, capturing true joy and connection. During our session I will guide and direct your family and do my best to capture your individual personalities and the love you share.

LOCATION

I have several locations throughout the valley where I love to shoot. You can find my location list by clicking on the picture above. These are just suggestions and I'm very open to finding new locations! I can also offer you sessions indoors either at my home studio or your home. Let me know if you're interested in a studio session.

WHAT TO WEAR

I encourage you to wear coordinating, but NOT MATCHING clothing. Make sure everyone in your group is wearing the same style of clothing (casual, dressy, special occasion, etc) to create a unified look. During our session you will be walking, sitting, playing, and possibly lying down. It's best to wear clothing and shoes that allow you to move well, but I encourage you to dress up! Avoid clothing with words, logos, and neon colors and ABSOLUTELY NO TRANSITION LENSES please.

PROPS

Generally speaking, I do not use props in my photography, but I am a big fan of pretty blankets. You are welcome to bring one to your session. High school seniors are always encouraged to bring items that help illustrate the focus of their high school years.

YOUR CHILDREN

Please manage your expectations regarding your children's behavior. The goal of our session is to capture their true personalities and enjoy our time together. The secret to a relaxed portrait session is relaxed parents. Let the kids play. Let them have fun, even if it seems chaotic at times. Let me worry about their behavior and reign them in if need be so you don't have to.

PREPARATION

Prepare your children by making sure they are rested and have had a snack before our session. I encourage you to bring water. Let them know a friend will be coming to photograph them. It's best not to surprise them.

Planning a trip to get ice cream or a fun meal after or before your session is a great way to add to the experience. I would strongly discourage bribing your children or threatening to take away the fun experience/treat if they don't behave. Threatening to take away fun has never once made a child behave at a photo session of mine.

SESSION TIME

Arrive on time! The time of your session is based on light and when that light will be most flattering for you. It's important that we start on time. Allow for traffic or parking constraints. Plan to arrive early.

AFTER OUR SESSION

It will take up to two weeks for me to edit all the best images from our session and create an online gallery for you. Please be patient.

PAYMENT

A 50% deposit is required to secure your portrait session date (with the exception of mini sessions). The remainder of your fee will be due the day of your portrait session. You will receive an invoice in your email and I accept cash, check, and all major credit and debit cards.

SOCIAL MEDIA

I frequently post my work on social media as well as on my website and the occasional photo contest. If for any reason you do not want your portraits posted on the internet, please let me know.
